Foobar2000 with Wine under Mac OS X audio problems and more

Hi there,
is there a Wine user here who could give me a hint how to best set up Foobar on a Mac?

My problems:
  • Audio is very flakey. Skips and crackles.
  • From time to time Foobar loses 'focus'. I can't select windows and keyboard strokes won't get noticed. Have to click around the windows until focus is back.
  • Volume changes within Foobar do not get recognized by the system.
  • Font rendering is really bad
  • UPnP not accessible (> Little Snitch problem?)

System: OS X 10.11.6
Foobar: 1.3.10
Wine: 2.0

is there maybe an indepth tutorial for a working wine solution for Foobar2k?

There's a lot of talk about it for Linux > https://hydrogenaud.io/index.php/topic,54933.0.html but I'm not sure how applicable all of that is for macOS. Don't think it should differ much should it? It seems pretty nicely supported on Wine too.
