TripleQ - A minimalist yet versatile foobar2000 (dark) theme

I've put quite some work into making a theme for myself... so I thought some of you might like it as well...  :D
(It is a minimalist yet versatile interface that does not get into your way while you do other stuff.)

All required files and information (including very simple instructions on how to install) can be found here:

     TripleQ (GitHub)

Some of the nice features implemented so far are:
  • 3 different view-modes (so the player does not get in your way while still being accessible)
  • moving text in case the artist-names and song-titles are too long
  • a dynamically updated queue-content indicator/editor (
  • Library-view, Tree-view, Coverflow, Playlist-manager(
  • ... and finally buttons to access quick (regularly used features like)
    • moving files to pre-defined folder structure
    • apply replaygain-scan
    • open folder containing the selected file
    • change playback order
    • change output device

It looks very impressive. Just having a play. Many thanks for the effort here.

@osenboz , it' a bad idea to store scripts in component's folder: they will be rewritten (or removed) every time component is updated. The better solution would be to store scripts in a separate folder. E.g. `fb2k/themes/tripleq/...`.

@TheQwertiest Thanks for the info! So far I've generated the theme just for myself so things like that were never an issue...
I'll change it and release a new version as soon as I find some free-time!

@TheQwertiest found some time to move everything to a proper location and on the way fix some things that didn't work properly  :))
I've released it as v1.1  (  get it as usual from here TripleQ theme (GitHub)  )

(it's basically just an update of the components used to incorporate some bug-fixes)

  • it includes a lot of small usability-updates
  • ... and it comes with it's own minimalistic FileBrowser!
