I have had this logitech system a couple of years now! And all of a sudden the Right Rear speaker has stopped working. I have tested the speaker on the Right Front and the speaker works fine.
So the problem must the connection from the Sub and that the signal to the right back speaker is suddenly gone?
I have changed the wires as well with no luck. Have tryed to press the "input" + "setting"-key to se the firmware (for a reset or something). But the problem is still there.
Is there any other solution to this problem or is the system broken? Any other tests I can do? Or is it something that may be easy to fix myself if I open up the sub?
I am testing the whole thing with the "test"-function as well. So there is nothing with the computer or any other software issues.
Most likely a dead amplifier, then. Could be fixable, could be not fixable, depending on the hardware. An EE with circuit design experience could figure it out one way or the other.

If the cost of this system is what I suspect, they'd charge more to inspect it than its worth. Actually fixing it would be significantly more.
Around here it costs close to $200 to have someone open a power amp and just look at it. I've heard of $300-400 power amps being discarded as being not worth repairing.
