Playing a specific subsong from command-line

Is it possible for fb2k to play a specific subsong from command line?

So far the only ways I can see to do this are by calling foo with the /next option multiple times which is ugly or creating a single entry FPL playlist externally which is OK but as I understand it the format could change without notice. Specifically I am interested in playing SID tunes but this option would also be useful for similar formats like Playstation or Nintendo tunes.

Any help would be appreciated as I can't find anything about this in the documentation, wiki or here at HA.
