Use Winamp Plug-in via DirectX?

There's a tool called AdaptX that lets you use DirectX tools within Winamp as plug-ins.

I want to do the opposite. I want to use a Winamp Plug-in from within a DirectX application (Cool Edit Pro).

Does anything exist that would make this possible?

If not, I'll use the Winamp DiscWriter.

Cheers,
David.

Oops, I'm stupid. Just recently realized Cool Edit Pro lacks VST capabilities. OTOH Audition (at least version 1.5) does make use of VST plugins.

BTW, I couldn't get WA Stereo Tool to work with the VST plugin below.

If you're using CEP, maybe a VST solution is ok?
