Banned from Chrome, but not from Firefox or Edge

I'm a new user--at least I don't think I've had an account here in the past.

At any rate, when I try to access any page of the site from my Windows 10 machine, using the latest version of Chrome, I get a "Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum! This ban is not set to expire" message.

When I use Firefox or Edge from the same computer, it works.

What can I do about this?

I've experienced the same issue, but I thought it was due to my privacy VPN connection I sometimes use. Without using such a VPN service, I didn't have the problem so far.

Do you have the chrome data compression feature enabled?  It's possible that the forums software detects that proxy and blocks it.

The problem may also be that you visited with a banned IP address, and the banned status was cached in a session cookie with your browser.

Thanks! I was facing the same problem in Firefox and clearing the cache for this one website worked.
