M3U playlist don't load tracks

I just formated my computer an reinstalled foobar2000 v0.9 beta 10. When I tried to load my m3u playlists it doesn't load it in foobar. There is no error message. I checked off m3u in the associated file extensions. Do I need to have winamp installed for this to work??? The music files are regular mp3 files and can be played when double-clicked. Any help is appreciated.

Did you check to see if your playlist is pointing to files in the right location, since you did reformat? Check that first.

m3u's are just text files, so you should be able to open them in your favorite text editor (edit: eg, notepad), and do a find/replace "E:\" with "D:\", if that's the only thing that changed.

Or go to Disk Management and change those drive letters back.
