Any updates on this? Sometimes I think Peter has so much to do that he forgets foobar2000 is still in beta  It's almost a month, that's why I'm asking.

Thanks.

I think you should stop asking the same question after every beta release.

I think you should stop asking the same question after every beta release.

One week left to a month and it will expire, sometimes I forget major things I have to do, I don't even know if he's totally into the mobile development now, just a question and I'm sure I will as again after a month of the next beta.

Perhaps the question is best left until after the beta expires? Betas are for testing, not continued use. If you're worried about your audio player simply ceasing to function after a certain date, you should stick with the stable versions.

Peter is a professional. I'm sure he's perfectly aware of foobar2000's release schedule.

and it's not like the non-beta release cannot be used even if the beta one were to expire without an update.
and in addition to the comment by Zarggg, if you're that concerned, then using beta builds is probably not the best thing for you to be doing.

I understand your concerns, that Peter is a professional etc. still, people can ask whatever they want. Peter can simply reply "not yet" or "it will be ready when it will be ready".

Other reason: I am leaving for a month vacation in two days and I'd like to see what's in the final version, of course I don't want to push for an unstable release that's why I just asked.

So if eahm is going to ask the same question every month until we all die, why don't we just ignore him? Clearly he's not going to change.
That's so plausible, I can't believe it.

I promise that was the last time  I am excited for the vacation I guess, going back home every two years etc.

eahm could be on the remotest location on earth with the nearest internet access 5000 miles away... yet if a new version of itunes/core audio toolbox is released that doesn't actually change anything with regards to encoded files output, he will find a way to let us know...

LOL why didn't I even bother checking and updating for the past two years no one knows! Actually I'm really busy too, two businesses, a 2 years old son etc. and I still keep checking. Someone may find it useful I guess

I can't help thinking about Walter White walking 8 miles with lung cancer to a tiny bar with a box of money for his family.

To add some value to this thread (God help us), I've had two crashes on Windows 10 build 10041. I submitted the crash reports, of course. This is notable because foobar2000 crashes so rarely. This last time I was paused. Without clear evidence I suspect foojesus (God help us all).
