Title: how to covert to 32bit integer WAV?
Post by: psme on 2012-11-05 07:42:33
hi,

I have a AIFF file in 32bit integer format. In foobar2000 I do a "convert" to WAV, let the "bit depth" at AUTO or 32-bit, it will always create a 32bit Float WAV file. How can I create/convert from 32bit integer to 32bit integer?

Thanks in advance!

It's not possible with foobar2000. Maybe it was possible with ver. 0.8.3.

Why exactly do you need 32-bit integer WAV? Any specific practical use?

I want a 32bit wav to test a DAC which claim 32bit support. I found Dbpoweramp can do the 32bit aiff to wav conversion. All is fine and thanks for the reply!
