A Matlab perceptual audio coder

Found this interesting site where they implemented a perceptual audio coder in Matlab.

Very interesting.. An implementation in matlab.. Matlab would provide all the necessary tools for visualization.. but isn't it slow ?

You can bet your bottom dollar it is (Matlab, in general) very slow  But I guess you could use the Matlab compiler.

Hey guys, thank for checking out my website.
I haven't had much chance recently to work more on building this site, but I welcome any comments.
Hopefully, I will have time add more to the site and to update the coder and make it more efficient and maybe even faster- yes it is pretty slow, but it's really more of an educational tool.

By the way, if you guys wouldn't mind giving me feedback about the Model 2 demo, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Jon
