KEF iQ7s - bought ex-demo for a bit of a saving.

I like them, although there are some minor shortcomings.

I haven't, sorry.

I am in a smaller room now than I was when I bought the iQ7s, and have considered downsizing my speakers, but they are still very satisfying, with a 'big' sound to them. The bass goes pretty low, although there are some recordings when the bottom notes begin to disappear.

I'd still recommend them as a good value second-hand purchase. The iQ7s flew under the media radar a bit, while everyone raved over the smaller iQ3s and iQ5s, and the top-of-the-range iQ9s.

If you do buy iQ speakers, remember that if you pop out the blanking markers in order to use banana plugs, it's hard to tell which is + and which is - even in good light, so using a marker pen on the back gives a good visual guide.

ADAM A3X x2 + ADAM Sub 8 & ADAM Sub 7. Control via MOTU Ultralite.

Secondary systems include twin 7" floorstanders: TDL RTL 3, 8" standmounts: Mordaunt Short Pageant 2 and desktop: ADAM A5X.

Top system is the best and most versatile though.
