You don't have to load the json file... that's a preset! I would recommend you to read the readme and installation notes of Playlist-Tools.... since that's the thing you have to install first.

Haven't I done it correctly then?
After putting it in its correct location, it doesn't show up in Foobar after I restarted the application either.
I must be installing it wrongly or something

After you have installed the scripts, then you can load the json file as a preset within the script.
At that point you will have a new panel with a buttons bar. Pressing Playlist tools opens a menu, at config you can load a presets file (the json file).
After all it's done, you will have a new entry at the pools submenu.

The thing I have posted is just the preset, it does nothing without the rest and has nothing to do with SMP panels.
If you are not able to do it, wait for a gif in some hours ;)

Not exactly... since what you want to do is intercalate artists, thus shuffling tracks only. Pools is out of equation for that.

I've setup Playlist Tools SMP like you described, and then I already had Spider Monkey Panel ...
I've copied the .json file to the script folder but I don't know where to go from there... How do I run the script? / Or add the panel?

Support - (fb2k) / Playback freeze for 1-2 second after screen wake up
Last post by SGvagon -
Hello,

I love Foobar2000 , but on my both Windows 7 machines when screen off and the I move the mouse for wake up screen, but after wake up screen, playback stop play/freeze for 1-2 second and then continues normally.

Is it a bug or can I somehow fix this issue?

I am using Foobar 1.6.7 as portable with Fade in/Out DSP plugin.

Thank you in advance.

Incredible theme !!! I have a problem reading the artwork. It's placed on the same folder as always as folder.jpg but unless I attach the picture it is not shown... maybe I am doing something wrong?
Many thanks in advance

Can you describe your case a bit more detailed? What do you mean unless I attach the picture?
The artwork should be always shown... Do you have only folder.jpg in your album folder or other pictures too?
If you have more pictures, what happens when you disable Options > Player controls > Cycle album artwork?

Edit: I forgot to mention, just in case, you need to play the album to load the album artwork, otherwise it's not loaded, but that should be obvious...
Also make sure that, the album cover is also shown as a small thumbnail in the playlist, if there is shown NO COVER, it will try to load the embedded artwork from the music file.
If there is no embedded artwork, it will show the placeholder ( music note )...

Still does not work correctly in my opinion, unfortunately (v1.6.8b6).

I tagged the 3 files from Sergey77 with only 3 tags: each with the same "Album Title" (ALBUM) and "Artist Name" (ARTIST), as well as different "Track Title" (TITLE). But the album art does not change! This happens only when the files get different "Album Title" (or "Artist Name").

Why can't foobar2000 just basically read the album art every time a track changes? What should be the big advantage of the current variant?

Many thanks to all who also test and help here.
