Media Library Rescan Bug in version 1.1.2 ?

Since version 1.1.2 beta 4 - but also in today's  v.1.1.2 - I cannot update my media library. Starting the rescan manually, the progress status first says "indexing files .." and then hangs on "initializing" instead of going back to "idle". Only after a restart, the updated ml appears in my playlists. Can anyone help?
