DirectSound v2.0 already has this behaviour...
It is included at least in special installer and I'd guess in normal too...
well, it's not really what i am searching for:
i am looking for [stop without fade-out -> by default] and [stop with fade-out -> on special key].
You could also make up your mind and choose which one you realy prefer to use

i meant [direct sound output v2]-fading is not the answer to my request.
what i am looking for is playback that by default does not fade at all but additionally gives the ability to stop a track with fadeout like in winamp.
