AcoustID Plugin in EAC

Hi there.

I was wondering what this plugin does in EAC. I've seen that it was not enabled but out of the blue, I ended up enabling it. Does it send song signatures to some database? Or does it confirm signatures against a database?

It seemed to only work in Secure Mode:

---- AcoustID Plugin V1.2.0

Total fingerprints: 10

When I switch to Burst Mode, it returns 0 fingerprints.

If someone can explain me this, I greatly appreciate.
