Lame3.98 bad pre-echo in V0 and b320

/Edit: maybe this is more suitable for the Tech forum?/

Sample link http://www.volny.cz/jmartis/latenight.flac

Lame version: 3.98 final

Problem: Pre-echo artifact with -V0 and -b320 settings and any other presets, very easily noticable. Its not as bad with 3.97b3.

ABX 10/10 on both settings, I only need to play the "X" as the problem is really obvious.

Have you tried to use NSPSY instead of the new psy model thats default with the -V switches?. There was a option on a beta version that would let a user use a different psy model, but its not documented or has been removed on the final version. Anyway --vbr-old, still uses npsytune as the the default psy model.
