foo_KOSAIR2 : A resampler by myself.

Keep Original Sample - Auto Interger Ratio Resampler v1 (KOS-AIR2 for foobar 1.0x )

The software is free for charge. Current is v1 public ver.

This is a plug-in for foobar 1.0x. It is using the technologic different others.


***** The highlight are *****

1. The frequency response is not flat in mathematics. (The really is..)
2. No digital low pass filter.
3. Keep Original Sample. (so called KOS)
4. Non-Interger ratio convert is not support right now.

But I think this not bad. (Feeling so good about oneself)


***** The know problem were *****

1. For the algorithm in C2 mode, insert 2 silent original sample in music start.

2. No Digital low pass filter. I have no idea if somebody's ultra treble monomer will be burn out.
( I HAVE NO RESPONSIBLE , determine by yourself.)

3. Because "Keep Original Sample", the downsampling is just removed some samples. Not good to hear.
(I don't want to fix.)


***** Recommanded *****

Set to "Yuan" and "C2-method + sine" mode, pull up the all upsampling to highest (ex. 44.1k => 176.4k),
and listen. The other modes is just for funny.


***** Other *****

1. I HAVE NO RESPONSIBLE for the using results.
  (bad to hear makes angry, good to hear makes addiction, speaker crashed, computer exploded ... etc)

2. If there is no native support for 88.2k/176.4k with sound device, the 44.1k upsampling may only work
  in KS/DS mode. (But still effect.)

when setting the first slider to the third option, it crashes.

And the third slider maked it crash on the third option as well...

May you tell me those informations:

1. Is it happend in playing or stopped?
2. Did it crash sometimes or always?
3. What DSPs are you using in the same time?
4. What type of music are you playing? (eg. FLAC / 44.1K / 16bit / 2ch)
5. What System are you using (OS & CPU & foobar ver.) ?

I will try making a same system for test.

Unfortunately I can't tell you all of those, as, for example I already deleted the crash dump and removed the plugin.

1. Playing.
2. Always when setting those two to the third option.
3. Only a DSP for skipping silent passages (set to a minimum duration of over 2 seconds)
4. MP3, 44.1K,  16 bit, Stereo
5. Windows 7 x64, Intel I5, Foobar 1.1

Fix program could be crash when switching the slide bar. Thanks to Qudeid.
Fix the word "interger" to "integer" ... It's Google translation error :x
Changes some informations and filename for foobar naming conventions. (Please delete the old one)

Hi wahaha99, just signed up to say thank you for making this. It works well. Some of the other resamplers I tried weren't working on the latest version of Foobar (1.1) and yours was the only one I could find.
