I import some tracks (on mp3) in foobar, and I'd like to merge them into 1 single files.
Is it possible? I don't see any option in foobar, so I think I need a plugin?
With or without re-encoding?
Uhm...yeah I'd like to choose wich kind of bitrate set to my merged mp3
But to be honest yesterday evening maybe I've done it using the foobar "merge in one file" option on the Convert menu...
So, with re-encoding.
I’m unsure what you mean by “maybe”; did it work or didn’t it?
Yes, it works, didnt' check the whole merge yet. I'll let you know If I find troubles.
Thanks
Is there any idea how to create *.cue file after merged some files? I cannot find any options in Convert Menu . Do I need any additional pluging for it?
Destination > "Generate multi-track files".
Destination > "Generate multi-track files".
It creates several wave files with *.cue but I need one Image.wav and one Image.cue file. It doesn't matter which type of file but only lossless.
EDITED: OK I figured out... It works perfectly. Thanks so much
With or without re-encoding?
hello, sorry for the necropost but.. how can i merge multiple mp3 files into one with cue files WITHOUT re encoding? also, can i do it in batch for my music library to have every single album split in 1 single file+cue? id3 tags are good.
thanks!
MP3 files aren't designed to merge. You will lose all gapless encoding, unless the files were specially encoded for merging, in which case they wouldn't have been gapless in their original form.
