Strange behavior with EAC and my LITE-ON 52246S

Hi there fellows!

As far as I read here on Hydrogen Audio, the extraction should be faster when relying on C2 information. This is true when using EAC 0.9 Beta 4, but not with the actual 0.95 Prebeta 3.

Here are the results:
Exact Audio Copy 0.9 Beta 4
Using C2: 10.1x
Without using C2: 5.9x

Exact Audio Copy 0.95 Prebeta 3
Using C2: 3.9x
Without using C2: 8.7x

Is it possible that the EAC 0.95 checkbox value is swapped?

Sebastian Mares

Hi Sebastian,

this is a known problem with Liteon and Eac .. ;( .. after you have
ripped something or changed the Settings you have to eject the Disk to reset the Drive..

Here i got 8.6X without C2 and 11.8X with C2.
