I've made my latest config look better under Vista and Windows 7.

And also updated my basic playlist layout for mixed playlist and singles files:

The # column lables queued index items in blue.

That's Shpeck with Milkdrop 2. The preset is called something like "Volcano", I think.
Edit: "martin - volcano"

What else?

(nice layout )

(Assuming this reply was to me) Thanks, and thanks for the wonderful config! I only changed colors of certain panels and added an album graphical browser(BRO).

I rewrote large parts of my ELP (for faster configuration) and wanted something with bigger covers. It's a simple layout, with only a hint of PSS, to spice things up a bit.

I use this layout for maintaining my library and creating playlists, along with XChange for playing. (Thanks Br3tt, it's really great!)

Started doing some tweaks to my same old foobar2000 layout again. Figured out how to create a "decade" filter from just the regular date tag, so I had to add that. I then discovered the lovely biography panel...and well, how I lived without it in the past I do not know. Ah, how I love how customizable this player is

Could we get your layout? Looks Great

Thanks

Note: auto-rating (DAR) in Item Details Panel is currently not accurate, because it's not possible to retrieve system date there. I have to use a dummy, fixed date as a workaround, you'll need to change it once in a while.

Hi
First I want to say your work is really good. In your last piece I think I have two minor problems
a)The Tab stack below the filters shows kind of misplaced
b) I can not see my album art. I tried replacing the field definition for album art in the elp section with the one you have in Foonight/day an does not work. My album art is stored at the folder of each album as folder.jpg and in foonight /day works flawlessly.

I know it could be something pretty easy, but I tried to install your config in three separate machine and I cant make it work properly.

Thanks before hand

Cant seem to get my UI layout to look like yours

I posted the config along with some short instructions on another forum I frequent, so I'm just going to quote my post from there:

Quote from: Dirhael link=msg=0 date=
http://gallery.thesecondscreen.com/uploads/whiteout.zip[/url]

I wrote a short README and added a list of required components (with links to download), and included in the archive  Should you need more help with the config (haven't tried actually importing it into a clean foobar2000 installation, so I don't really know if anything will be missing) just let me know.

Oh and it works best with Vista or Win7 (fonts and all that), but I wrote some info just in case you're on XP.

UPDATE: I updated the archive with better instructions in the README.txt. See, I tested on a clean fb2k installation, and noticed not everything was imported as I expected, so I added instructions on how to fix this. If you downloaded before the time this post was edited, please download again.

EDIT (yes, again): In case you want the "decade" filter I'm using (the rightmost one in my screenshot, and will be missing in the zip file posted above...apparently, this isn't exported either), here's the code:
Code: [Select]
$puts(c2,$char(8203)$rgb(140,150,160,70,75,80))$ifgreater(%date%,9,$div(%date%,10)0-$div(%date%,10)9,$get(c2)'( Undated songs )')

Hope this works for you, it should look pretty much as my screenshot does

I'm not using anything special for that, it's just the default %length% field from the playlist dropdown component, so I really don't know why it's not showing that way for you (as long as you have at least 24h+ of music in your playlist. Until you do, it'll show as hh:mm:ss).

a) It's because the tabs are in a PSS and I only need one line of tabs. Either turn off multiline tabs in playlist switcher options, or replace the PSS with playlist tabs (you'll lose the playlist order button though).

b) You'll have to enter the paths in foo_covers. To switch between the pictures click on the cover.
