Please try the work-around from GitHub and let me know if it fixes the problem before I release it to the component repository.

Incredible !!! It works perfect !!

Now it doesn't fail. Spectacular !!!!

You solved it very quickly. Thank you very much, it's amazing.

I think everything is fine, I have been testing and there seems to be no error. You can publish it to the repository without problems!!

A question pqyt, can the plugin access the album covers? Would be wonderful. I also don't know if you can access the peaks of the sound (I don't know what this is called), it would be brutal to be able to access the intensity of the L and R channels in real time to create different VU meters or Milkdrop with Javascript very easily. It would mean a before and after for Foobar, the design would change a lot.

Thanks again for creating this wonder!!

"Write log" button writing a single log is neither a bug nor a limitation - it writes a log of the results allowing you to manually alter the save location and the name. If you want to save one log per directory enable the automatic log writing option in preferences.

I like a lot Dynamic Range Write log button
but if i select multiple albums it does save only 1 foo_dr.txt in a singular folder
for example i have selected 4 albums and scan and clicked on Write log button does save only 1 file about all the albums in 1 album folder
do you think could possibile select 4 albums and save 4 foo_dr.txt files on each album folders?
is a bug or component limitation?
ps sorry i wanted to edit to avoid double post , but i could not

Intuitively I expected the rather big output buffer to be a benefit speedwise and against file fragmentation, but changing writes to happen all the time doesn't seem to cause any slowdown and file fragmentation seems to actually be reduced in my quick test. At this point I don't think a switch is needed and the change seems safe.
3rd Party Plugins - (fb2k) / Columns UI & UPnP volume control
Last post by Cousin -
Good morning,
I'm using Foobar with a network amplifier (Hegel H120) using 'UPnP MediaRenderer Output'. Everything worked fine with 'Default User Interface'.
Recently, I installed 'Columns UI' and it appears that the volume button controllable with the mouse wheel no longer works. It is replaced by the 'standard' cursor which displays an error message:
"Scalar volume control not supported with this device.
Please use volume up / volume down menu commands or keyboard shortcuts."
If I uninstall 'Columns UI' it works again.
'Columns UI' is definitely involved.
I have not found any solution to this problem which is very annoying.
Does anyone know anything?

but may i know how can I display or read Dynamic Range and True Peak Scanner values ?
just because i like to use properties alt+enter , but i there is nothing in the information about these values
i know think even mp3tag can show them
I assume you are talking about tags?  The scan results you choose can be written to tags automatically by selecting the appropriate choice in Preferences/Advanced/DR Meter and ../True Peak Scanner/Tag Writing.  Alternatively, they can be written on demand after a manual scan viewing from the results dialog.

The values from the tags can be displayed in your Foobar track list in their own columns (if you have the screen real estate!) using Custom Columns with the right regex expression--some of the regex gurus here have already posted those up one of the components' threads here.  Or by manually viewing the tag(s) in Foobar's tag editor.
i use  DarkOne4Mod v1 theme , so i can not add values just because i don't know how to do
about the foobar tag editor , i think you are talking about properties , i can read only in the metadata tab and column Ui Main

I guess there is no good alternative as Streamripper for Foobar2000 then :( this is sad
I'm hoping some of our genius plugin writers here (case, mudlord, pgyt, Peter, et. al.) would be so kind as to create a plugin for Foobar that functions as a Streamripper replacement and update.  The functionality model right now IMO is the slick built-in stream recorder of the AIMP music player with its simple on/off button on the player body:
