Columns UI: toggle between different foobar layouts

I have saved two different foobar layouts (a full-screen view and a reduced small view - so I can toggle between the views similar to Windows Media Player). Now I have assigned a button in the taskbar to switch between the saved layouts (the button allocated to the Main Menu Item: View/Layout/Name of Layout). The switch itself works fine, but it doesn't change the window size as well: I have to manually reduce/maximize the window size.
Is there any way to combine these functions in one button (in Columns UI) and to save some clicks?

Thanks

Although you can lock panels to custom size, you can't lock main foobar window size, so you can't do that
