Removing initial silence while batch converting

Basically I have a bunch of FLAC audio files that I want to remove the 2-second silence period (each and every one of them have this) and then convert them to another format. I tried the Skip Silence bit from the DSPs but it doesn't do anything, even when setting the detection threshold at -20dB. So my question is: is there any way to remove a fixed interval silence from whithin foobar (preferably in batch mode) that would remove the exact 2 seconds whether they might generate some dB or not?
