Changing metadata infomation deleted the metadata for the files

foobar200 v1.5.4
EDIT: Still happens with latest stable version currently V1.6.16

I changed a multi-selection of .wav files metadata album field string value and pressed apply. Now when I right click the file in windows explorer and got to the properties>details tab, it shows the files have had the meta data removed for:

Title:
Album:
Year:

I know that it had this information before I changed it in foobar. This really sucks and seems like a bug. Any thoughts?
The data IS updating because my music player musicbee is recognising the changes, but why isn't it showing in windows explorer properties? It shows up fine in windows explorer when I export from Reaper.
I'll download the latest stable version of foobar and attempt to remedy the problem by changing the metadata information again.

Thanks

Had experienced the same bug I think:

But have not been able to reproduce it with specific steps yet (and I don't really want to use my library for testing XD).
