MP3 Tagging issue

I'm new on this forum and was wondering if anyone can help me out with my problem. So I've been trying to organize my music library. When I delete information from the genre and comments tag. The old information will reappear in iTunes a day or 2 later. How do I fix this? Thank you

Maybe try using mp3tag or similar to clear those tags, remove everything in your itunes library (not the actual files tho  ) and then re-add them all? Maybe iTunes is doing something odd?
