I get the feeling that this is intended as some kind of rebuke, but I'm at a loss as to how I could have behaved differently.

If it wasn't intended as a rebuke, then thanks, but it's not necessary for any and every reader to acknowledge their acceptance.

Just a different take on audiophile bashing and 'me too' trolling. It's standard HA fare.

Is 24-bit/192kHz good enough for your lo-fi vinyl, or do you need 32/384?
