no rating tag when upnp browsing

So, I searched a lot but nowhere is a perfectly clear statement to be found . . .

Is there a way to be able to save a rating value in the tag of the file when browsing via upnp ?
How will i be able to see already saved ratings ect.

What i can do so far is search the upnp server like 'rating GREATER 3' or similar . . .

It is not clear which ratings will be shown in the playlist column . . .

Of course I could use the statistics plugin and rate the file - but this would stay a local rating only :-(
