fixed Playlist Viewer for DUI?
Is writing a simple fixed Playlist Viewer component for DUI a reasonable project?  If so, are there any 'nearly the same' examples that could be the starting point?

The need is for a UI object that is very much the same as the core Playlist Viewer but has the additional option of being able to be set to always look the same/named playlist whether it is active/playing or not.  So, for example, you could have a tabbed playlist in one pane and a Playlist view in a separate pane.

I have done development using Visual Studio before but never for Foobar2000 components. Before I consider having a go, I thought it would be wise to find out if this potential project was feasible or not?  The idea would be to keep it as simple and clean as it's possible to be.  Work the same as the existing Playlist Viewer but with just two additional options I think... View Active and View Named (with a dropdown field that lists the available playlists).

ps. I'm assuming there isn't any liklihood of the existing Playlist Viewer being enhanced in this way?  Hope I'm wrong.

Though I have no direct experience, you might maximize your success at reaching developers via irc.

Esplaylist from ssenna http://foo2k.chottu.net/#esp is an alternative playlist viewer, it is compatible with DUI (and CUI) and allow to set the view to a specific playlist whether it is active  or not. All you have to do is, to right-click in the Esplaylist playlist --> playlists and uncheck Follow the active playlist

I thought ESPlaylist might be overkill for what I wanted but, actually, I just loaded it up and it'll do fine.  Thanks.
