HE-AAC: is there a test file to audibly tell if a decoder is HE or LC?
Hey all.

Is there any AAC-HE audio that can be generated to _clearly_ identify if the file is decoded by AAC-LC or HE-AAC decoder? Some of the guys have difficulty telling the difference. I need it to troubleshoot an Android decoder.

thanks.
Dennis.

…which is of little use when what is desired is a file in HE-AAC that’ll sound unmistakeably different depending on whether it’s decoded as HE- or LC-AAC.
