Portable Paths

Hello,
I run fb2k from my thumb drive where the application and music is stored. This is awesome and a real boon to have my collection and player both with me on the go.

I've set Music Folders up in a location relative to the root of my portable drive.

..\..\Documents\Music (as seen in the Media Library section of the Preferences panel)

and no matter what drive letter I launch fb2k from my library is always found and scanned as designed, However when saving .fpl files this convention of referencing the file location from the root drive seems to be ignored. This means that every time a .fpl file is loaded after a drive letter change that the list becomes unusable.

Would it be possible in the future to allow the .fpl files when saved from a portable installation to use the same convention as the program uses for the music folders? i.e.

..\..\Documents\Music\song.mp3

This would make this a truly wonderful portable application, and do away with the hassle of having to run third party plugins like Revive Dead Tracks. I understand that portable path support currently works, but only if the playlist is saved in the same folder as the .mp3 files. It would be nice to have a separate folder for playlists stored anywhere and the drive and have the playlists still fine the music files when the drive letter changes.

Please don't offer any workarounds, I'm already aware of them. Please consider this a suggestion for future versions of fb2k.

Thanks
Bob
