hm, I just now saw how it looks on white window background (default Windows background) and it seems that colors aren't right there
at least stripes blending should be done with white:

$set_global(strip_bg,$blend($rgb(255,255,255),$get(default),1,3))

but I guess color scheme used in globals should be lighten a bit with adding 10 i.e. to current values
well, sorry about this, I should have checked better
