does anyone know a workaround for 24H2? I mean, I saw previous message. But how can we control play/pause now? Any popup windows or smth?

^ I only have Win10. :D  If you set the flowin window to View > Flowin > [name] > 'Always on top', and set a Preferences > Keyboard Shortcut to View > Flowin > [name] > 'Bring to top' (and tick 'Global' to make the shortcut work everywhere) - does hitting the shortcut work to bring it on top of the taskbar?

The problem is it will never stay on top when you interact with the taskbar, thanks to Windows and the way they work (assuming Win11 is like Win10 in this regard) ... I have a bad idea to solve that but see if the keyboard shortcut is a good enough workaround for you, if it works...

nah.. doesn't work. only when foobar is using. I just don't know where to set it, the first place was right above the clocks, but then I remembered about notifications, so it overlaps.
