Dark Side Fans

For those of you, like me, who are Pink Floyd fans,
Rolling Stone has posted a great article on the upcoming 30 year anniversary
of Dark Side of the Moon.

I started listening to Pink Floyd in June of 1968 with the release of "A Saucerful of Secrets"
The first time I saw them live, they played in Atlanta,Ga (my home town) on May 12, 1970,
at the Atlanta Municipal Auditorium, during their 3rd tour of the US,
which was also their first appearance in the south.
Other dates I got to see them were April 8th, 1972 @ Memorial Arts Center Symphony Hall
(this was probably the best show they did in Atlanta, because they used that venue to it's fullest acoustically),
and then again on March 24th, 1973 during the Dark Side of the Moon Tour.

Pink Floyd truely changed the face of music back then, for the better.
Not only in the studio, but in the way live performances were presented to the fans.
So its not hard to understand why I say that Pink Floyd is one of the greatest,
and most influential bands...of all time.

IMHO, "The Dark Side..." is the Pink Floyd's masterpiece.
After all these years, I still like to listen to it.
Bought the LP back in 75 or 76. Does anyone remember the SQ Quadraphonic version?
