foo dsp vst Installation Location?

I think the right place for it is the component's folder. I just tried it, thought is a buggy component, but it works after I give it the place for a VST...dll. You can put your VSTs in a folder inside foobar2000 let's say: VSTs. Don't know if is the component or other thing, but my foobar freezes after I disable it.

Thanks for your help!
  • I put the foo_dsp_vst.dll file into the "components" folder
  • I put the Plugin DLL (for an autotune plugin I found) into a VSTPlugins folder
  • I started up FooBar and it seemed to start normally.

But how do I "activate" or enable the plugin and vsthost?

Add it to the chain under Preferences > DSP Manager, I presume.
Full-quoting makes you scroll past the same junk over and over.

To configure the VST bridge go to (foobar's) menu File, Preferences, Playback -> DSP Manager.

Consider to use George Yohng's VST wrapper instead of your component.
This is HA. Not the Jerry Springer Show.
