Nero InfoTool, DiscSpeed & DriveSpeed

What are the latest free versions of Nero InfoTool, DiscSpeed & DriveSpeed? I've found InfoTool 5.3.3.0, DiscSpeed 4.11.4.0 & DriveSpeed 3.00. I know that there are newer versions but are those only available with the whole Nero package?

Aren't they freely available for download on Nero site?
They were last time I checked... but it was some time ago.

EDIT: Try Softpedia. They have at least Nero DiscSpeed 5.0.1.250, try searching for more.

2nd edit: here you go:

IMHO Nero site regarding downloads is messy (quite normal with big company sites).. at least if you try to locate these tools. Found InfoTool buried under Nero 8 & 7 downloads.. old version. According to this, the latest version is 6.4.10. I've 5.3.3.0.

"Nero DVD Speed 0.53B" (whatever that is, first time I hear about it) download link is broken. It's pointing to www.cdspeed2000.com which only has "Opti Drive Control" nowadays. The "DiscSpeed" (earlier known as "Nero CD-DVD Speed") was available from there in the past. According to this, the latest version of "DiscSpeed" is 5.4.10. I've 4.11.4.0. Tried the link you posted for 5.0.1.250, doesn't work, the program just doesn't start at all!? No error messages, nothing. Strange.

The "DriveSpeed" is same as mine, 3.00. According to this, the latest version is 3.0.1.. though I believe that newer Nero packages have newer versions.

The point of this topic was to ask which are the last free versions. Searching for these tools yield some newer versions but are those legal to use?

Yeah, I wrote about that too in my last post. It's a newer version of DiscSpeed which was newer version of CD-DVD Speed which was newer version of CD Speed which was newer version of ?  Not going to cash out on a tool that I need only very rarely. Besides more googling revealed that the DiscSpeed is flaky (like I've witnessed too) and users suggest using some older versions of CD-DVD Speed.

Does anybody know any good free alternative software?

Thanks. Maybe there's some useful information/apps. BTW I only use DiscSpeed to trick EAC/my drive to rip in low speed/revs.

EDIT: oh, reached 500 posts. Wow, that's a lot.. at least to me it is.

Why? I have found most modern drive actually do better at higher speeds. My SH-S203B rips right through many challenging discs at high speeds. Slow it down and it starts to have errors. They are engineered for the higher speeds.
