The stats are as accurate as they could be. I removed the ones that were spammers and the one that either rated all 1 or all 10. As stated above I collected the data in the best way I knew how to at the time. In the future if I do something like this I will defiantly ask some different questions on the survey and do some other things..

I feel your research writing skills are excellent, but the math seems a bit weak to me. I would provide you with some more details, but I haven't looked at stats book in about three years. I took AP stats in high school and social science statistics in college. I remember one of my stats projects was to measure the infant mortality rates between countries and look to see if there was any statistical signifance between them. The U.S at the time had one of the highest infant mortality rates suprisingly I later found out. I can't remember what techniques I used. I remember measuring the correlation coeffcient and some other stuff.

What seems to make you think my math skills are weak?

I am not sure if your intentions were to just collect data and present it in a business writing presentation form. If that's the case then everything looks fine. However it doesn't seem like you have really measured much though. The "rating" really doesn't say much about the product itself. I don't understand what are you measuring? That's what I and a few other members are trying to get it. Somebody mentioned that your survey is going to biased due to the fact that you are surveying members of an audio site. Maybe somebody who is an expert well versed in statistics around here can chime in soon and give you some more pointers.

My intentions were just what you stated that they may have been. As for the bias thing the point of the survey was to have the users that OWN the player rate them. Anybody who did not own the player was asked not to rate it. The reason this is not biased is because each person who owns a player is going to be biased for that player. However sense they are all going to be biased for only the player they own there is not a problem there. As for mentioning you didn't know what I was measuring, I was collecting what the users that own the players thought of their players. Perhaps you don't realize I advertised it on multiple forums for different players. I personally don't see any problem with this being in anyway biased or inaccurate.

I see that you didn't use this thread title as the article title, that was a wise decision.

Edit:  I found a couple other statements that I didn't care for such as "I really thought this would be a higher number considering the amount of people out there that don’t care about what their music sounds like."  You said this when talking about earbuds.  Now, technically speaking, you can't make blanket statements like this unless you actually polled your audience and asked them how much they "cared" about the audio quality of their music.  You also label the iPod touch as being the most popular iPod.  Again, you can't really say that unless you polled your entire audience and asked for their opinions of the device.

Other than that, I think it is a good article showing what people think of their devices.  I think the Zune users were a little flawed when voting especially when it came to giving the Zune such high scores for screen quality.
