Trouble with UIE Explorer

Hi guys, I'm a newbie to Foobar and so far, I'm lovin it.

I have two quick questions.  As you can see by the screenshot below, I've add on the Fofr skin and everytime I start up Foobar, I get the error message.  Obviously, the version of uie_explorer_DLL file is either a) incompatible with my foobar version (v0.9.5) or there a configuration problem.  I think it's the former.  I tried to look for a newer version of uie_explorer_dll and the latest I have is = v0.4.6.  According to the "Official Fb2K components" website, I'm already using the latest version of this component.  I'm very confused by this because version 1.04.6a available at the following website:
http://wareseeker.com/download/foo-uie-exp....6a.rar/3507561

So why wouldn't the official components website reflect this??  Is it because it's not made by the same author who created the uie explorer??

Anyways, I've deemed the website to be either warez related or some half-baked managed website because the download link is invalid!  In fact, when you click on the download link, it says please provide a link for us. <weird>

What is that component used for anyway?  If it's not necessary, maybe I can just delete it?  Anyone have experience with this skin?

Secondly, knowing that Foobar is highly customizable, I'd like to know how you can increase the font size for the playlist.  Screenshot, list of Sarah McLachlan songs on the right.... how can I make that font larger?

OS = WinXP SP 3

Edit:

I found the answer to the first part of my problem by downloading a newer version of uie_explorer.

i don't know that config, but that is probably ELPlaylist

in that case right click on a playlist, choose settings, select style tab, and change default font and size

Speaking of updated versions, when someone releases an updated component, how do I know it's good?  In another words, how can I trust him/her?  In this case, the newer version worked out well and it's no longer producing the error message. But in the future, how would I know that the author hasn't released some bogus update or that it's packed with viruses?

3rd party components are just that. Having the most recent version does not mean it is keeping pace with Foobar. Just something to keep in mind. I do not directly know if it is an issue with specific problem.

Also, note that your version of Foobar is not current and importantly, you  may want to review:

Terry,

How is my post regarding font size, Fofr skin related related to your thread above?  I posted a question regarding the problem with uie_explorer_dll -- has nothing to do with panels UI.  But then again, I'm just a dumb country bumpkin so I could be wrong about that one.

I didn't ask how it's keeping pace with Foobar.  Let me rephrase my question:  How would I know the AUTHENTICITY of a updated (or newer) version of a component?  Any joe blow can say 'hey i've got an updated version of uie_explorer.... download it from my website'.  In this case with uie_explorer, I see that JackieKu is a member here so I felt (somewhat) comfortable knowing that he or she is a regular contributor.  In the future, I'd appreciate if you could actually read and understand my question.

IF above is not what you are using, then it be my mistake.

message conveyed is the message heard. I may be dumb or you may of not been as clear as you believe. You had more than you question asked.

Which playlist viewer are you using?

If you are not sure, you can use preferences > components to determine.

As your remaining issue is apart from the title of this thread, and may get lost...it might be a good idea to start a new thread specifically related to changing font size of your selected playlist component.
