USB External Soundcard for NB

Hi,
I spent few hours searching for some tips/advice that would fit my needs, but unfortunatly what I found was either not my case, or just outdated.

I need an external soundcard and this is what I expect:
  - good sound for my Sennheiser HD 215 headphones
  - connection via usb
  - linux support - this one is especially important

Not much, but rather hard to find if you are no expert. So I ask you, experts, for some useful pieces of advice.
Thanks you

I dunno how much you are expecting to spend, neither if you only want the card for playback or also recordings, kind of inputs/outputs etc.

Edirol UA-1EX could do the job for you:
i) good sound for my Sennheiser HD 215 headphones
Good sound is so relative I cant tell anything about that.
ii) connection via usb
Yes it has got.
iii) linux support - this one is especially important
Yes it works on linux out of the box, using usb compliant audio driver but only at 32/44.1/48 kHz

Cons: It hasn't balanced outputs/inputs

Thanks for your answer. I forgot to tell you I don't really need any inputs, I will use it only for playback. I don't even need a microphone input

Good sound is so relative...

I know, it was deliberatly written like that:)

So the soundcard should be like:
- good(sorry, can't help it..  ) sound for sennheiser 215
- will be used just for playback (no inputs needed)
- connection via usb
- linux suppor
- medium price (hmm let's say 50-80 euro, is this possible?)

I think those DAC aren't Linux supported moreover are much expensive than he wants to pay.

Then I think the sound card I said is a good option, you should find it in that range of price.

The big cons is that the outputs are RCA, if you are looking for balanced outputs you will have to pay more money

This one looks nice, but what does RCA mean?
Ok, so let's say I don't care (well I do, but I'm really interested..) about how expensive it will be.

This means RCA http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RCA_connector
Here you can find it at 66€, goolge it and may be you can find a better price.
