I've bought Verbatim Pastel - ATIP says:

ATIP:              97m 24s 01f
Disc Manufacturer: Taiyo Yuden Company Ltd.
Reflective layer:  Dye (Long strategy; e.g. Cyanine, Azo etc.)
Media type:        CD-Recordable
Recording Speeds:  min. unknown - max. unknown
nominal Capacity:  702.83MB (79m 59s 73f / LBA: 359848)

Are they really TY? Are they good?
By the way, TY were newer reported to die, am I right?

Wrong Topic to get much attention I suppose, but I have those Verbatims and some Matsui which are multicoloured.

Do Multi coloured surfaces (both under and top side) have any 'downsides' ?[span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'](so very very sorry)[/span]

Edit: I thought a question mark might be useful
