Resetting Accurate Rip in EAC

I recently got a new drive and wanted to start over EAC from scratch so I deleted the accruate rip directory in application data and lost the txt file showing how the key disc configuring went. When I reinstalled EAC the AR setup was already done. Is there anyway to reset accurate rip with EAC as everytime I delete the directory, EAC still has the offset configured.

It is the right one, I'll just leave it then. Just a side question, the drive I replaced my old one with is a LITE-ON  DVDRW SOHW-1673S and I'm currently burning some CUE images and not one of the CD's is coming back as accurate yet with my old drive burned copies would still show up as being accurate. And that's why I thought maybe the offset is problem, it can verify the originals and rips the other drive made, just not rips this drive is making.

Hi,

if I remember correctly and don't mix things up, then EAC saves its settings to registry. Search there for "EAC" or "exact audio copy" and delete its keys there.

Well I fixed my problem, this drive needed to have it's write offset configured to -6. Now the CD's are fine. So does that mean I need to use EAC to get accurate copies or can other programs use write offsets too?

EAC is the only program I know of that is able to apply a write offset when burning except for PlexTools which only works with Plextor drives.

EAC isn't what's saving the offset correction used by AR.

Well I figured out how to do it, I just needed to remove registry key for the offset from this location HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP (Backuping up the registry of course)

I guess it stored the settings there as I previosuly had dBpoweramp installed
