Problem with cue and discnumber/totaldiscs.

If I add value for "Disc Number" or "Total Discs" field and click apply, then foobar2000 erases those values.
I'm using single file for the album and a cue sheet.

External cuesheets don't support these tags. Use embedded cuesheet instead.

When using an external cue sheet you can add the common tags, like disc number, to the referenced audio file if it is in a format that supports tagging (wave doesn't). Foobar can read most of them (if not all) when the cue sheet is loaded to a playlist. foobar can't write them back through cue tracks so for editing them you need to edit the audio file's tags again and then reload the cue track info.

Another option is to create APL files that can hold all tags. APL files are small link files that contain info about the referenced audio file and the playback range. The tags are stored in APE v.2 format inside APL files (one APL file for each individual track). Inside foobar APL files can be played and tagged like any standard audio files.

APL support is available only if the Monkey's Audio plugin active. However, in foobar it is not limited to the Monkey's Audio encoding format. You can use APL files for example with a wave file.
