Installing Lame MP3 for Adobe Audition 2 ?

I can't get Lame MP3 to show up in the save dialog box on Adobe Audition 2.  Any ideas?

Just encode to .wav and use foobar or similar to encode to .mp3.

You need to place the 'cool_lame.flt' and the 'lame_enc.dll' of your choice in the root directory of Audition, not the plugin or filter directories.

What are they?  Do I need them?  Where do I put them?

You don't need those, they are the source code files. They are distributed for people to compile the filter themselves, if they wish.
