How do I get audiobooks to appear in the LIBRARY - "Audiobooks" menu in iTune?

Change the file extension from .m4a to .m4b

Next question, are these files .m4a or .mp3? If they are mp3 they will not go in as Audiobooks. If they are indeed .m4a files, then rename them to .m4b > drag them to the iTunes Audiobook folder, then from there, drag them on top of the iPod icon. Unless something changed with the newer Classic and Nano's, this method should work. I've been doing it this way for years with my 4G and the latest iTunes software.
