Problem with Sony Ericsson HPM-70

Hi,

I've get today HPM-70 earphones, bought on eBay from a trustful seller, for my Sony Ericsson mobile phone.

I've got a problem with it, there's only sound in the right phone. I've tried to plug other my EX-71 that works perfectly on my discman, and I've got the same problem. I've also try to plug back the phones given with my phone, and everything works perfectly.

The phones alone put on another device work perfectly. So it makes me state that it's a problem with the device the microphone device.

When I "touch/move" the connections, I manage to get sound in the left ear, but actually it's the same signal as in the other one (the beginning of Blood On The Ground by Incubus, is perfect to see any stereo trouble).

Anyone knows what could be done ?

All the best.

Try to find a service point near you. I had a similar problem, only that I could not connect my SE K750i to my PC and the headset was also causing trouble (clicking and connection problems when touching the plug) and it was the connector on the phone that was somehow broken. Fortunately, Mobilcom-Kiefer managed to fix it for free (still had warranty on it).
