i haven't heard of flacdrop, but foobar2000(a music player which you can find around in the forums) should be able to do that.

ok,i got foobar and is cool.
now i have one dtswav track.
after i extract the track as .wav and using dtstranzcodegui i have 6 .wav 32bit but i need 16bit and using foobar i got 2 channels(stereo).

what i have to do to get 6 separated .wav 44.1-16bit from foobar? (you know, newby here)

thanks Mangix

i don't believe that it's possible to separate them into 6 files. the converter only converts the files into a diffrent format while still retaining the number of channels(although i do believe that it depends on the format)

You can use Foobar to decode into one 6 channel WAV file in 16bit (original bit depth). Then you can use a tool named WaveWizard to seperate the 6 channel WAV to six individual mono WAV files.

Wavewizard can do all kinds of channel mixing/splitting.

Borisz,
i use wavewizard to encode 5.1 (sometimes) but don't knew that we can get six individual mono WAV files from 6 channel WAV.

reading the wavewizard thread in doom9 forum i don't saw any "how to".
the wavewizard developer a long time don't post news and seems that he don't have homepage.(i'm not sure)

can you please explain me how i can do that?
one single "how to" is apriciated or a links showing the process.

thanks for your cool hint!

The problem is that it's a DTS track you're dealing with. DTS uses matrixing trickery to embed the six channels into a stereo file. So if you just decode the flac (with any program), all you're going to get are the two DTS channels that sound like static. From there, you're going to have to find a way to de-matrix them to get a standard 5.1-channel WAV.

with tranzcodegui the channels "map" is ok but the output is always 32-bit and i need 16bit.
better is search(hearing) the right channels than dithering(32-bit --> 16-bit) the right channels from tranzcodegui.
... i still don't know how to decode in 16bit with wavewizard.

Maybe i dont understand you but wavewizard can't decode dts.
