Colors in foobar 0.9 (RGB?)

Hi, I'm totally new to foobar ... just started playing with it ...

1st question : Is it just me or the color codes are totally weird in foobar ???

I mean, they look like web color codes, but it's really not the same right ?

Is there somewhere where we can see the color codes ?

Web colour is hex.  foobar2000 doesn't use hex.

I think you call up the rgb() function like this:  $rgb(b,g,r) ... so rgb colours are reversed.

No, the function is called $rgb() because it's $rgb(red, green, blue), not $rgb(blue, green, red). Maybe you're thinking of the old 0.8.3 \eBBGGRR\e escape codes?

Actually foobar does use hex color codes. The format is -BBGGRR- (blue, green, red). The escape code, however, does not paste into this forum at all well and are represented above with -.  Because of this inconvenience, and the fact that many people are more familiar with decimal rgb values of their colors. "they" came up with the function $rgb(). The format is $rgb(RRR,GGG,BBB) and gets processed to become the equivilant hex color code mentioned above.  So to make everyone's life easier.. if you have a color red=0, green=128, blue=255 ... use $rgb(0,128,255) instead of -FF8000-.

EDIT: When posting in the future, please use a more descriptive title for your thread. This way in the future if others have the same problem they will more easily be able to find the thread and an answer instead of waiting for someone to answer it again.  My suggestion in this case would be something like "Clarification needed for color codes" or anything containing the keywords "color codes".

Ah, you're right.  Thanks for clarification.
