convert alac to flac in osx?

Hi all.

Best way to convert ALAC to FLAC under OSX without losing tag data?

Thanks

I think Max can do such a thing. Never done this particular conversion though...

Max requires 10.4, and I need to continue to use 10.3 because of certain professional software.  Anything else?

Hhmm... If you end up with no other solution you might want to try to get Max to work on 10.3.9:

This is amazing.  There appears to be no way to rip to properly tagged FLAC under any versions of OSX prior to Tiger.  That's pretty surprising for an open-source format.

I'll keep my eye on the Max 10.3 thing and hope that pans out, though.  Thanks for the tip.
