playback on start up

I was unable to locate this option, which was in the preferences in previous versions, is there something in specific that needs to be done in order to do this in .9?

Please help me find a solution to this, I would very much appreciate it, thanks in advance

If you mean "Resume playback after restart", it is in Preferences, Playback.
