.NET control for encoding speech to MP3

Firstly, I must state that I am not a software developer so I may be a bit out of my depth on this one. However, Im hoping you can help.

I would like to get a .net control that will enable our software to take speech input from a microphone and encode it into an MP3 (or other suitable file format) and then save it.

Ideally there would be .net sample code for this.

It does not have to be freeware as I am willing to pay for the control.

This is something I would like to see in our software but is not a priority for the development team. however, if I can set the table for the developer to get this done with minimal effor the might be more agreeable to doing this sooner than later.

Thanks in advance.

John
