amplifying a batch of mp3s?

I'm looking for a Windows command line or GUI utility for quickly and easily amplifying a batch of MP3s. I'd like to boost the volume before burning an MP3 CD because the player I'm using isn't very loud to begin with. Any ideas?

Thanks!

MP3Gain comes to mind as a possibility.  It's not really designed to increase volume past its reference level but it can if you change the reference level.
